Each fan is individually created using the finest, hand split bamboo and airy, 5mm silk. The artist draws upon her experiences as a painter to achieve color combinations that are unique and daring.
The silk is hand dipped as many times as necessary to create the desired color saturation and blending.
These fans are not mass produced but created with care and concern for quality and longevity. These fans are very sturdy yet beautifully delicate and made for dancing.
